Flyers Mid-Week Update #2 18/09/2014

Frank Morris, John Haig, Steven King, Jamie Wilson, Danny Stewart, Dan Ceman, Casey Haines, Justin DaCosta... Last weekend Kyle Haines became the latest player to wear the "C" on the blue, white and gold of the Fife Flyers. Matthew Elder of the Fife Free Press had the exclusive on Todd Dutiaume's reasoning and some rather surprised comments from the man himself:

This is a decision that comes as no surprise to me, Kyle is a solid player who is calm and cool on the ice, collected and considered off it. It also comes as no surprise when you consider Dutiaume's quotes on Haines during the off-season:

Kyle is clearly a player that the team think highly of and has proven an excellent addition since he was added last Autumn. He keeps his head and defends admirably and is a fantastic attacking player, who has scored some incredibly important goals for the Flyers over the last year:

Let's just hope that the added responsibility only leads to more of these moments!
