Aaron has taken to twitter this week bigging up the old barn:
Can't wait to call this game Saturday - @FifeFlyers v @DundeeStars LIVE on @PremierSportsTV - can't beat atmosphere in that historic barn!

This Saturday @FifeFlyers v @DundeeStars LIVE on @PremierSportsTV 6:55uk. Flyers legend Steven King will join me for the call. #PremierEIHL

The news that Steven King will joining Aaron again is particularly exciting. The Flyers' legend was in the studio when Fife faced off with Dundee in January 2014 and he was brilliant - calm, collected with great insight. A dramatic late equaliser that night resulted in a penalty shootout, goals from Bobby Chaumont and Tim Hartung gave Blair Daly the victory:
Flyers specialise in the dramatic and the memorable when the Premier Sports cameras are on them, we all remember what happened when the first time Aaron and the gang came to town. Ned Lukacevic's debut was overshadowed by the incident between Matt Nickerson and Chris Frank, before the spotlight was stolen by Danny Stewart and his overtime winner that gave him 100 EIHL goals in all competitions:

Today is naturally a huge day for Scotland and the UK as a whole, a number of hockey personalities have got involved on twitter, some of them have made jokes:
If it's a yes vote @harpoon26 might get to play at a World Championships #frightening

Some people have made pseudo-political statements:
47 years ago today, Sweden changed from driving on the left to driving on the right. This is what happened (1967) pic.twitter.com/Ye5NLM6bP9”
— Paul Thompson (@thommoblaze) September 18, 2014
And some people have let the world know that they can't spell "metaphor":
@thommoblaze I like what you did there #metphor #referendum
